Recent retirees Jimmy Bartel and Michael Jamison have joined the AFL match review panel, the league announced on Friday.
Bartel, a 305-game veteran and three-time premiership player with Geelong, retired last year, as did Jamison, who played 150 games for Carlton after starting out as a rookie.
The pair join former players Michael Christian, Nathan Burke and Jason Johnson on the match review panel (MRP) for 2017.
Former Adelaide and Richmond midfielder Chris Knights stepped down from the MRP, citing work commitments.
